Cameras I love!

I took photography as a serious hobby only after my graduation even though I was very much interested in the same during my engineering studies. My first professional camera was a pre-1980 Minolta manual focus with detachable lens that was very difficult to operate. This one was a very old one, but gave me exceptional picture quality (if handled well!). Once employed, I decided to experiment my skills with a Nikon N50 SLR (the F50 equivalent) with two lenses: (i) a Sigma 28-50mm wide angle and (ii) a Sigma 70-300mm zoom with macro. This was an excellent combination which presented me with options to mix and match and learn the core of photography.

When the digital era came to existence, I decided to go for a non-SLR Digital camera first to help myself get adjusted to the technological changes. The one that I zeroed in was Canon Powershot S3 IS which had all necessary features that I was looking for!

This photograph is a classic example of the capability of this amazing piece of advanced technology. With its image stabilization option, I could draw this shot without even using a tripod!
